Woman fatally shot in Lake St. Martin

RCMP are investigating a homicide after a woman was found fatally shot in Lake St. Martin First Nation on Wednesday.

Mounties were sent to a home in the Interlake community at about 9 a.m. The woman’s death is being investigated as a homicide.

“The incident does not appear to be random,” Mounties said in a news release.
