Police were called about the incident on 1st Avenue Northeast at about 11:30 a.m. Monday. They were told by an employee that a male had entered the store and waited for customers to leave before giving the clerk a note stating he had a bomb.

The note also demanded cash and asked the employee not to press the panic button.

The male fled on foot without any cash or items.

Officers patrolled the area but could not find a suspect. He was described as wearing a black hoodie with script on it, a black face covering, gloves, grey pants and possibly black Converse shoes.
