Celebrations ticket refunds completed
Refunds for Celebrations Dinner Theatre tickets have taken “longer than expected,” but show ticket repayments are complete, said Bob Cunningham, president of theatre owner Act Three Entertainment.
The company is moving onto subscription package refunds. Act Three Entertainment expects to complete the transactions by the end of this week or early next.
Celebrations Dinner Theatre closed unexpectedly Sept. 8, less than a week into many of its workers going on strike. At the time, the company announced complete refunds for customers who’d purchased tickets.
Krispy Kreme aiming for spring opening
Krispy Kreme is on track to open across from Ikea in spring of 2024.
Winter weather could elongate the timeline, Levi Hetrick, Krispy Kreme Canada’s chief growth officer, wrote in an email.
Construction has broken ground on the donut eatery, which will house a 12-metre production line and glaze waterfall.
New Michaels store in the works
Popular hobby store Michaels is targeting a spring 2024 opening date for its new shop off Kenaston Boulevard near Linden Woods.
The company erected a sign in the area more than half a year ago. It has locations in St. Vital, Polo Park, Garden City Shopping Centre and Crossroads Station.
