ORONO, Maine (AP) — Adam Clark had 19 points in Merrimack’s 71-65 victory over Maine on Sunday night.
Clark had three steals for the Warriors (2-1). Samba Diallo added 14 points while shooting 3 of 7 from the field and 8 for 10 from the line, and he also had six rebounds and three steals. Devon Savage had 11 points and shot 3 for 10, including 3 for 8 from beyond the arc.
Ja’Shonte Wright-McLeish led the way for the Black Bears (1-2) with 17 points. Kristians Feierbergs added 12 points and seven rebounds for Maine. In addition, Peter Filipovity finished with 12 points.
Up next for Merrimack is a Wednesday matchup with Ohio State on the road and Maine plays Northwestern State on Thursday.
