COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Darius Beane’s 25 points helped Lindenwood defeat William & Mary 71-60 on Sunday at the Air Force Classic.
Beane shot 10 of 19 from the field and 5 for 9 from the line for the Lions (3-3). Keith Haymon scored 15 points while going 5 of 9 (5 for 7 from 3-point range), and added seven rebounds. Keenon Cole shot 4 for 13 (2 for 6 from 3-point range) and 3 of 4 from the free throw line to finish with 13 points.
Chase Lowe led the way for the Tribe (2-4) with 17 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals. William & Mary also got 16 points from Gabe Dorsey. Noah Collier also had 11 points.
