FORT MEYERS, Fla. (AP) — Donovan Gregory scored 16 points as Appalachian State beat Murray State 67-57 on Wednesday in the Palms Division of the Fort Myers Tip-Off.

Gregory had six rebounds for the Mountaineers (3-2). Terence Harcum shot 3 for 13 (2 for 7 from 3-point range) and 5 of 6 from the free throw line to add 13 points. Tre’Von Spillers finished 5 of 12 from the floor to finish with 10 points.

The Racers (2-3) were led in scoring by Brian Moore Jr., who finished with 18 points. Jacobi Wood added 11 points for Murray State. In addition, Rob Perry had 10 points and nine rebounds.
