RUSTON, La. (AP) — Daniel Batcho had 17 points in Louisiana Tech’s 71-62 win over McNeese on Wednesday night.

Batcho also contributed eight rebounds and four blocks for the Bulldogs (4-1). Tyler Henry scored 14 points while shooting 4 for 9, including 4 for 8 from beyond the arc, and added five rebounds. Tahlik Chavez shot 3 for 10 (3 for 9 from 3-point range) and 5 of 6 from the free throw line to finish with 14 points.

Christian Shumate led the way for the Cowboys (5-2) with 15 points, six rebounds and three blocks. McNeese also got 11 points, five assists and three steals from Shahada Wells. In addition, Cam Jones had 11 points.
