LOWELL, Mass. (AP) — Max Brooks scored 23 points as UMass-Lowell beat Emerson 116-48 on Sunday.

Brooks also contributed 14 rebounds for the River Hawks (9-4). Quinton Mincey added 18 points while shooting 7 for 8, including 3 for 4 from beyond the arc, and he also had five rebounds. Cam Morris III was 7 of 9 shooting and 1 of 3 from the free throw line to finish with 16 points.

Jacob Armant led the Lions in scoring, finishing with 19 points. Brendan McNamara added six points for Emerson. In addition, Cadan Zurek had six points and two steals.
