PEORIA, Ill. (AP) — Malevy Leons’ 17 points helped Bradley defeat Murray State 71-63 on Wednesday night for the Braves’ ninth-straight win.

Leons also added seven rebounds for the Braves (15-5, 7-2 Missouri Valley Conference). Duke Deen scored 13 points and added five rebounds. Darius Hannah shot 5 of 9 from the field to finish with 12 points, while adding seven rebounds and three steals.

Rob Perry led the way for the Racers (8-12, 5-4) with 15 points and seven rebounds. Murray State also got 14 points and eight rebounds from Nick Ellington. Quincy Anderson also had 14 points and six rebounds.

Bradley turned a seven-point second-half lead into a 15-point advantage with an 8-0 run to make it a 52-37 lead with 17:22 left in the half.

The Braves visit Indiana State and Murray State hosts Southern Illinois both on Saturday.
