RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) — Leland Walker scored 29 points as Eastern Kentucky beat North Florida 89-76 on Saturday night.
Walker added five assists for the Colonels (11-9, 7-0 Atlantic Sun Conference). Isaiah Cozart scored 18 points while shooting 8 of 8 from the field and 2 for 6 from the foul line, and added three blocks. Devontae Blanton was 5-of-12 shooting and 6 of 6 from the free-throw line to finish with 17 points. The Colonels extended their winning streak to seven games.
Chaz Lanier led the way for the Ospreys (12-10, 5-2) with 19 points. Jaylen Smith added 19 points, four assists and two steals for North Florida. In addition, Dorian James finished with 13 points and two blocks. The Ospreys broke a five-game winning streak with the loss.
