STEPHENVILLE, Texas (AP) — Jakorie Smith scored 28 points as Tarleton State beat Utah Tech 86-68 on Saturday night.

Smith added five rebounds and three steals for the Texans (13-7, 6-3 Western Athletic Conference). Lue Williams scored 18 points while shooting 6 for 9 (3 for 4 from 3-point range) and 3 of 4 from the free throw line. Emmanuel Innocenti went 4 of 6 from the field to finish with 11 points.

The Trailblazers (7-13, 3-6) were led by Noa Gonsalves, who posted 17 points. Jaylen Searles added 16 points for Utah Tech. In addition, Angelo Kambala had 14 points.
