MURRAY, Ky. (AP) — Quincy Anderson led Murray State with 20 points and Jacobi Wood hit the game-winning 3-pointer with one second remaining as the Racers defeated Evansville 73-70 on Saturday night.

Anderson added eight rebounds for the Racers (10-15, 7-7 Missouri Valley Conference). Nick Ellington scored 19 points and added six rebounds. Rob Perry had 15 points and went 7 of 12 from the field.

The Purple Aces (15-10, 6-8) were led in scoring by Tanner Cuff, who finished with 15 points. Evansville also got 14 points, 10 rebounds and six assists from Kenny Strawbridge. Ben Humrichous finished with 14 points.

Murray State’s next game is Wednesday against Missouri State at home. Evansville hosts Drake on Tuesday.
