FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) — Jack Gohlke scored 23 points as Oakland beat Purdue Fort Wayne 71-63 on Wednesday night.
Gohlke finished 6 of 14 from 3-point range and 5 for 8 from the line for the Golden Grizzlies (17-10, 12-4 Horizon League). D.Q. Cole scored 14 points while shooting 5 for 7, including 4 for 5 from beyond the arc. Chris Conway shot 5 of 8 from the field and 2 for 3 from the line to finish with 12 points, while adding seven rebounds.
Rasheed Bello led the Mastodons (16-10, 7-8) in scoring, finishing with 15 points and three steals. Purdue Fort Wayne also got 14 points from Quinton Morton-Robertson. In addition, Jalen Jackson finished with 11 points and four assists.
