BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) — Don McHenry scored 17 of his 25 points in the second half to help Western Kentucky beat UTEP 90-80 on Thursday night.

McHenry had five rebounds and five assists for the Hilltoppers (18-7, 7-4 Conference USA), who trailed 40-39 at the break. Teagan Moore was 5-of-7 shooting and 6 of 7 from the free-throw line to add 16 points. Babacar Faye finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Tae Hardy finished with 19 points, four assists and two steals for the Miners (13-12, 4-6) Otis Frazier III added 15 points, nine rebounds and two steals for UTEP. Zid Powell also recorded 12 points and three steals.
