CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Sai Witt had 26 points in Austin Peay’s 83-79 victory over Eastern Kentucky on Wednesday night.
Witt also had five rebounds for the Governors (16-14, 9-6 Atlantic Sun Conference). Isaac Haney added 22 points while going 7 of 12 from the floor, including 2 for 4 from 3-point range, and 6 for 9 from the line, and they also had six rebounds. Dezi Jones shot 5 for 12 (2 for 5 from 3-point range) and 2 of 4 from the free throw line to finish with 14 points.
The Colonels (17-12, 12-3) were led by Devontae Blanton, who posted 23 points and 13 rebounds. Tayshawn Comer added 23 points for Eastern Kentucky. In addition, Leland Walker had 18 points.
