DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Cameron Tyson had 19 points in Seattle’s 79-66 victory over Delaware State on Saturday night in the first round of the CBI Tournament.

Tyson went 7 of 17 from the field (5 for 13 from 3-point range) for the No. 3 seed Redhawks (20-14). John Christofilis scored 16 points while going 5 of 11 from the floor, including 3 for 7 from 3-point range, and 3 for 4 from the line. Kobe Williamson shot 5 of 9 from the field and 3 for 4 from the line to finish with 13 points, while adding six rebounds.

The 14th-seeded Hornets (15-19) were led in scoring by Deywilk Tavarez, who finished with 15 points and five assists. Jevin Muniz added nine points for Delaware State. Raymond Somerville also recorded eight points, eight rebounds and two blocks.
