NEWARK, Del. (AP) — Erik Timko and Niels Lane scored 17 points apiece to lead Delaware to an 84-64 victory over Monmouth on Saturday.
Timko had three steals for the Fightin’ Blue Hens (8-7, 1-1 Coastal Athletic Association). Lane made 7 of 14 shot. John Camden had 15 points.
Abdi Bashir Jr. led the way for the Hawks (3-12, 1-1) with 20 points. Cornelius Robinson Jr. had 10 points and Madison Durr scored nine.
Delaware entered halftime up 51-27. Lane paced the team in scoring in the first half with 13 points.
