CALGARY – Alberta’s police watchdog is investigating after a man was fatally shot in Calgary.
Police were called to a home in the city’s southeast following reports of a domestic disturbance.
A man walked out of the home when officers arrived and there was a confrontation.
Police say an officer used a Taser and another fired a gun.
No officers were injured, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say a knife was recovered.
The Alberta Serious Incident Response team has been called in to investigate.
