HALIFAX – Halifax Regional Police say they don’t believe the shooting of three people in Dartmouth was a random act.

Police spokesman Const. Martin Cromwell says none of the victims sustained life-threatening injuries on Monday.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Ruben Court at around 11:35 p.m.

Police found a man and two women suffering from gunshot wounds, and all three were taken to the hospital.

Cromwell says the police investigation is in its early stages.

Police have asked witnesses to come forward with information or video.
