TORONTO – Toronto police say one person is in life-threatening condition after a shooting in the city’s downtown on Saturday night.
Police say they responded to gunshots shortly after 10:30 p.m. in the area of John Street and Adelaide Street.
They say a man in his 30s was found shot and was taken to hospital.

Police say the suspects initially fled in a vehicle, but three people have since been arrested.
Parts of John Street and Adelaide Street were closed as police investigated.
Anyone with more information about the shooting is asked to contact Toronto police.
