SUDBURY – Police in Sudbury, Ont., say they are looking for additional suspects after a double homicide in the city on Friday.
The Greater Sudbury Police Service says officers were called to a building on Paris Street just before 10:30 p.m. on Friday after gunshots were heard.
The bodies of a man and a woman were located in the building.
Police have arrested a 44-year-old person in connection with their deaths and say they believe additional suspects fled the building before officers arrived.
Investigators say they also believe the victims were targeted by individuals known to them, and there is no further threat to public safety.
The investigation is ongoing and officers are working to identify outstanding suspects.
