EDMONTON – Edmonton police say they are investigating after a man was found dead Sunday on a hill in the city’s river valley near downtown.
Officers responded to a call about a man lying on a hill on Sunday morning near 101 Street and 100 Avenue.
Police say they found him dead near a set of stairs on the hill.
Investigators say the man’s death is suspicious.
Edmonton police’s homicide unit has taken over the investigation.
Police say an autopsy is scheduled for this week.
