Sudbury police say they’re searching for three additional suspects after two people were found dead and two others were arrested following a shooting in an apartment building last week.

Police say they responded to a report of gunshots inside a building on Paris Street in the city’s south end the evening of Aug. 29.

Two people, who were later identified as a 41-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man, were found dead when officers arrived.

Police say a 44-year-old man was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder, while a 32-year-old woman was charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

Police have released photos of three other male suspects, and anyone with information is asked to contact investigators.

They say investigators believe it was a targeted incident as the people involved were known to each other, and there’s no threat to the public.
