TORONTO – Toronto police say a 17-year-old boy and a woman in her 30s were injured in a shooting in the city’s west end.

Police say the woman was hit in the crossfire while driving by the scene.

The incident occurred Wednesday in the area of Keele Street and Donald Avenue.

Police say in a social media post that the two victims were taken to hospital.

They say one person is in custody.

The Toronto District School Board said a nearby high school, York Memorial Collegiate Institute, was in lockdown for a few hours due to the police investigation in the area.
