VANCOUVER – Police in Vancouver say they have made an arrest in a suspected double homicide and stabbing.
A statement from Vancouver Police says a 54-year-old man, who was found with non-life-threatening injuries at the scene of the homicides on Friday, has been arrested.
He remains in police custody and charges have not yet been laid.
Officers responded Friday afternoon to reports of a stabbing in the city’s Joyce-Collingwood neighbourhood.
They found a 50-year-old woman with life-threatening injuries inside an apartment building and later found two female homicide victims, who have not yet been identified, in another building nearby.
Police say they believe the stabbing and the homicides are connected.
