TORONTO – Toronto Police say they’re investigating a homicide after officers located a woman with injuries on Friday. 

Police say officers responded to a medical call at about 5:50 p.m. in the Glenlake Ave and High Park Ave area.

Officers say they found a woman with injuries in a vehicle and she was transported to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Toronto Police have identified the victim as 21-year-old Serenity Brown of Toronto, however, they did not disclose any information about the suspect.

Officers say this is Toronto’s 30th homicide of the year.

Police are urging anyone with information to contact them.
