HAMILTON – Police say a shooting incident is under investigation in Hamilton, Ont.
Hamilton Police say they were called to a residence on Manning Avenue early Saturday morning for a medical emergency.
Police say that officers responding to the incident found a 27-year-old male with a gunshot injury.

The individual was transported to a hospital in critical condition after police, Hamilton Fire and Hamilton Paramedic Services provided immediate care.
Police say investigators learned individuals at the residence were acquainted with one another.
The incident is considered isolated, according to police, who say the scene remains secured.
