KING TOWNSHIP – Police in the Greater Toronto Area are investigating a Sunday morning shooting between two vehicles.
York Regional Police say on social media officers responded to a shooting on the roadway in the area of 15th Sideroad and Dufferin Street in King Township just after 7 a.m.
They did not say if there were any injuries.
Officers say a suspect fled on foot and the road is closed.
They say police dogs have been deployed as officers search for the suspect in a residential area near Keele Street, south of 15th Sideroad.
Police say residents of the area should expect an increased police presence.
