ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Aidan Kehoe scored 21 points in Navy’s 86-70 win against NJIT on Saturday.
Kehoe also contributed 12 rebounds for the Midshipmen (3-3). Austin Benigni scored 20 points while shooting 5 of 9 from the field and 9 for 9 from the line. Jordan Pennick had 17 points and shot 6 for 12, including 3 for 5 from beyond the arc. Jinwoo Kim scored 13 points and Mike Woods 11, along with 11 rebounds.
Jeremy Clayville led the Highlanders (3-3) in scoring, finishing with 16 points. Ari Fulton added 12 points and 13 rebounds for NJIT. Sebastian Robinson also had 12 points and three steals.
Kehoe led Navy with 16 points in the first half to help put the Midshipmen up 51-36 at the break.
