LETHBRIDGE – Police in southern Alberta say a 21-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder in the stabbing of his twin brother.
Officers were called over the weekend about a stabbing at a home in Lethbridge, south of Calgary.
They say another man, who is also 21, was brought to hospital with multiple stab wounds and has since been released.
The suspect was arrested and officers seized a knife believed to have been used in the attack.
Police later found the men had gotten into an argument that turned physical and the accused believed he had killed his brother.
The man has also been charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon, and is set to appear in court Tuesday.
