HAMILTON – Hamilton police are investigating after a child was fatally struck by a public transit bus on Thursday.
Police say the crash happened near Emerald Street and Wilson Street and it involved a Hamilton Street Railway bus.
They say the child has died from their injuries.
Police did not immediately provide further details on the incident.
Police are asking the public to avoid the area as officers investigate.
