TORONTO – Police say a Toronto teen was taken to hospital in serious condition after a shooting late Friday.
Officers were called just after 11 p.m. to the Englemount-Lawrence neighbourhood of North York for a report of shots fired.
When police and paramedics arrived, they found a 16-year-old boy with gunshot wounds.
Investigators say the boy’s injuries are serious but non-life-threatening.
No other details have been released, but police say the investigation remains ongoing.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Toronto police.
