BOTTOM LINE: No. 19 Kansas hosts Towson after Melvin Council Jr. scored 36 points in Kansas’ 77-76 overtime victory over the NC State Wolfpack.
The Jayhawks have gone 3-1 at home. Kansas leads the Big 12 with 27.9 defensive rebounds per game led by Flory Bidunga averaging 6.5.
The Tigers are 0-3 on the road. Towson is fifth in the CAA allowing 68.2 points while holding opponents to 44.5% shooting.
