MERRITT, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA – A man has been charged with the second-degree murder of his wife in Merritt, B.C.
A statement from the RCMP says paramedics and police were called to a house on Tuesday and found 45-year-old Pamela Jarvis with “significant injuries.”
Police say she was transported to hospital where she died.
The statement says the suspect ran from the home before police arrived but was later located and arrested.
Christopher Jarvis was charged with the murder on Wednesday and remains in custody.
Police say he will be in court next on Jan. 6, 2026.
