TORONTO – Toronto police say a TTC streetcar derailed at a busy intersection in the city’s downtown core after a collision with a vehicle. 

Police say officers responded at around 5:40 a.m. Sunday to the reported collision at Bay Street and Richmond Street West. 

They say officers arrived on scene to find the streetcar had been derailed.

No injuries were reported.

Police say roads were closed in the area of the crash for a few hours but have since reopened.
