OSHAWA – Police say one man is facing a murder charge and a search is underway for a second suspect wanted in a fatal stabbing in Oshawa, Ont.
Durham regional police say officers responded to a call in the area of Park Road South and John Street on Tuesday at approximately 4:15 a.m.
They say police found a 44-year-old male with stab wounds on the roadway upon arrival.
Investigators say the victim was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition where he was pronounced dead.
Police say a 33-year-old man was arrested and charged with second-degree murder on Tuesday, and he is being held for a bail hearing.
Anyone with information about the second the suspect is asked to immediately call the police.
