Police say they have arrested and charged two suspects in the murder of a 32-year-old man in Brampton, Ont.

They say police found the victim with stab wounds inside the residence and he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Investigators say a 26-year-old man from Mississauga and a 31-year-old woman from Brampton were also inside the home at the time, and both were subsequently charged with second-degree murder.

Both suspects are scheduled to appear before a Brampton court for bail hearings on Monday.

Police believe the stabbing was an isolated incident and say there is no threat to public safety.
