CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ONT. – Ontario Provincial Police say a tow truck operator has died after being struck by a vehicle in Centre Wellington Township. 

Police say first responders rushed to the scene along Wellington Road 26 between Sideroad 27 and Sideroad 30 on Saturday.

They say the operator was struck while assisting another vehicle.

Police say the 39-year-old was taken to hospital and pronounced dead on Monday. 

The driver of the vehicle was meanwhile taken to hospital with minor injuries. 

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact police.
