OPP say officers were called to a property adjacent to Brunton Sideroad in Beckwith Township, just west of Ottawa, shortly before 4:30 a.m. Saturday.
They say a family member had located a man on the property and performed life-saving measures until first responders arrived.
Police say the man had been driving the snowmobile when it collided with a parked trailer.
They say the man suffered serious injuries and died at the scene.
