EMMITSBURG, Md. (AP) — Amarri Monroe’s 17 points helped Quinnipiac defeat Mount St. Mary’s 77-62 on Thursday.
Monroe added 10 rebounds for the Bobcats (14-7, 7-3 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). Jaden Zimmerman scored 13 points while shooting 5 for 15, including 2 for 5 from beyond the arc and added seven assists. Asim Jones finished with 13 points.
The Mountaineers (8-13, 4-6) were led by Luke McEldon, who recorded 18 points. Mount St. Mary’s also got 13 points from Arlandus Keyes. Trey Deveaux had 10 points.
