TORONTO – A teen was fatally shot at a Tim Hortons in Toronto’s east end on Thursday afternoon.
Police say the shooting happened in the area of Lawrence Avenue East and Bellamy Road North in Scarborough.
They say a male youth was taken to hospital with serious injuries and pronounced dead.
Insp. Errol Watson told reporters that nobody else at the restaurant was injured.
Police say the suspect fled the scene.
The investigation continues and police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
