ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Jackson Holcombe posted a double-double as Utah Valley beat UT Arlington 66-54 on Saturday.

Holcombe had 19 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks for the Wolverines (20-7, 10-4 Western Athletic Conference). Isaac Davis scored 14 points and added five rebounds. Trevan Leonhardt added 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Marcell McCreary finished with 14 points, three steals and two blocks for the Mavericks (15-12, 7-8). Casmir Chavis added 13 points and two steals for UT Arlington. Miles Goodman also had seven points and two steals.

The Wolverines trailed for most of the first half, with the Mavericks leading 32-27 at the break. The Wolverines used an 11-1 run to break a 47-all deadlock in the second half and take the lead for good.
