KENNESAW, Ga. (AP) — Jaden Harris scored 22 points off of the bench to lead Kennesaw State past Delaware 90-82 on Saturday.
Harris had five assists for the Owls (18-11, 10-8 Conference USA). Frankquon Sherman added 15 points and 14 rebounds. RJ Johnson shot 5 for 12, including 3 for 8 from beyond the arc to finish with 13 points.
Christian Bliss led the way for the Fightin’ Blue Hens (9-20, 5-13) with 25 points, seven assists and two steals, including 10 of 10 at the free-throw line. Justyn Fernandez added 20 points for Delaware. Alex Kazanecki also had 16 points and four steals.
Kennesaw State took the lead with 16:55 remaining in the first half and did not trail again. Harris led with 15 points in the first half to help put them ahead 50-25 at the break. Kennesaw State was outscored by Delaware in the second half by 17 points, with Amir Taylor scoring a team-high 10 points after the break.
