TORONTO – Police say a man is facing charges after three of his family members were stabbed in a Toronto home.
Officers were called to the home in the Glendora Avenue and Burnwell Street area shortly after 3:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Police say they found three adults who were injured in an altercation involving a knife.
They say the suspect fled the scene but was found and arrested a short time later.
Police say all of the people involved are family members, and the victims were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The 26-year-old suspect has been charged with three counts of assault with a weapon and three counts of assault causing bodily harm.
