Police say that on March 3, 2025, a Chevrolet pickup and a Toyota Prius collided head on in the northbound lanes of Highway 19 in Parksville on Vancouver Island.

A statement says both drivers suffered non-life-threatening injuries as did the baby in the Toyota.
