XIAMEN, CHINA – Canadian Christopher Morales Williams finished sixth in the men’s 400-metre race Saturday at a Diamond League competition.
Morales Williams, 21, of Vaughan, Ont., posted a time of 45.26 seconds. Botswana’s Busang Collen Kebinatshipi captured the victory in 43.92 seconds, a meet record.
In March, Morales Williams won the world indoor 400-metre title in a championship record time of 44.76 seconds in Poland.
