LANGFORD – Police say a 33-year-old man has been arrested in relation to a stranger sex assault involving a girl at a bus stop in Greater Victoria.
Mounties say the man was picked up on Wednesday but they didn’t say if he is facing charges.
Police also say the investigation is ongoing, and there have been no other similar reports.
The assault happened last week at a bus stop in Langford, when a girl was approached by a stranger.
Police said the man had a short conversation with the girl before sexually assaulting her and leaving.
The girl was not physically hurt, but police say they recognize the emotional and psychological distress that such an attack can have.
