OTTAWA – Ottawa police have opened an investigation into the disappearance of a 64-year-old woman who has been missing since the start of the year.
Olga Konokhova’s last known contact with another person was in January.
The city’s homicide unit is looking into her disappearance and considers the circumstances to be suspicious.
Ottawa police say they’re looking for the public’s assistance in locating Konokhova, a five-foot-six white woman with dark blond hair.
Police say they can only provide limited information about her situation at this time and refused to disclose further details.
They encouraged members of the public who might know something to submit anonymous tips through Crime Stoppers.
