AYLESFORD – Two Nova Scotia men died after they were thrown from a boat northwest of Halifax, police said Thursday.
Kings County District RCMP said the men went overboard Wednesday on Aylesford Lake after surface conditions of the water abruptly changed.
Police said in a news release that a boater had found the body of a 70-year-old man in the water.
The other man, a 58-year-old, was found dead Thursday after search and rescue efforts.
The Mounties said both men were from the nearby village of Aylesford.
They added there were three other men on the boat, who were not injured.
Police said an investigation is ongoing.
