TORONTO – One person is dead and another is injured after a shooting in Toronto’s east end.
Police say officers responded to reports of two people with gunshot wounds on Monday afternoon.
They say the shooting occurred in the area of Highway 401 and Victoria Park Avenue.
Investigators say one victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
They say the second victim, found at Victoria Park and Sheppard avenues, was taken to hospital.
Police say the homicide unit is being notified and they are asking anyone with information to come forward.
